Documentum and Alfresco – Salesforce Integration for Contract Management

During our development of our Contract Management Solution, we found a common requirement to initiate a contract is the extraction of values from the CRM system.  For one client, the information from their CRM system (Salesforce) was a easy way to jump start the contract development process while improving data integrity and reducing keying.  This post will present how capturing data from the CRM system (ex:Salesforce) can initiate the contract management process.

HotDocs – Document Creation for Documentum, Alfresco and Hadoop

Based on a client need and as part of our Contract Management solution, TSG has developed an integration to HotDocs and has also become a reseller for HotDocs.  HotDocs allows for data to drive the creation of documents and supports simple (ex: form letters) and complex (ex: contracts) document types.  TSG’s integration allows the data and documents as well as a PDF rendition to be stored in either Alfresco, Documentum or Hadoop.  This post will discuss and present a video of the integration.

Documentum and Alfresco – Performance Thoughts for a Hybrid/Rolling Migration

We recently discussed the concept of a rolling migration versus a more traditional big-bang migration approach.  See our initial thoughts on development of a rolling migration approach for the eventual retirement of a client’s old system over time.  After working through some of the challenges, we now have a system that can quickly move content into the new repository on demand.  This post will discuss our results.
